What is the relevance of Christianity in a world that is ruled by brutal corporate plutocrats who own everything and control the media, who even demand our philosophical assent?
A world where music and entertainment are saturated with evil.
These are dark days indeed.
But Jesus is the Light of the World.
He manifests the Light of God in our world.
And what is that Light?
To love God and love your neighbor.
To treat others as you would want to be treated yourself.
To have compassion and mercy for all living beings, even your enemies.
Surely this is needed more than ever.
But it must be remembered that it was the rich and powerful who crucified Jesus.
Sobering thoughts indeed.
