Unconscious Homophobia.

                              

Even liberal people who consider themselves enlightened can still harbor unconscious homophobic feelings.

And many religious people are severely homophobic.

The idea that homosexual people are more sexual than others is a homophobic stereotype.

Homosexual people are the same as heterosexual people.

In fact homophobia can actually cause negative behavior.

So look at your reactions when dealing with homosexual people.

You may be harboring unconscious homophobia.

When new revelations bless us with new ideas the temptation is to force these ideas onto other people.

But a new approach should not be about forcing progressive ideas onto conservative people.

What we must do is maintain our own position and pray for others to see more clearly.

Then when God shines the light of truth upon them we may both be more enlightened.

Same-Sex Marriage.

                   

If anyone is still in doubt about the wisdom of legalizing same-sex marriages I can state categorically that there is no moral basis to any objections.

The Bible is ambivalent about the subject of homosexuality.

Old Testament purity laws have been questioned by many.

And New Testament objections derive exclusively from the letters of St. Paul which were never intended to be used as sacred scripture.

The love story of David and Jonathan is evidence of sacred enfranchisement.

And the art works of Michelangelo are among the greatest in the world.

So religious objections to same-sex marriage would appear to be groundless.

The Answer.

                            

Although I encourage people to have a positive attitude towards sex.

I do not think that sex is the answer.

Many people think that sexual success will bring lasting happiness.

But an orgasm lasts a few seconds at most.

And sexual satisfaction does not last long.

The answer to life's dilemma is love.

Only love can satisfy the soul.

And to give love is the ultimate answer.

Because then we are in love all the time.

Conservatism.

                            

There is a school of thought which suggests that if you just embrace political conservatism and adhere strictly to religious orthodoxy all will be well and you will be right with God.

Unfortunately this is not true.

Jesus said that the world did not know God.

And it still does not.

The political conservatism of the established religions owes more to the Pharisees than God.

It was the conservative religious authorities in league with the dominant power of the world which killed Jesus.

So the idea that we should conform to the expectations of the Church and the corporate plutocrats of our world is bankrupt.

God does not punish us.

He nurtures us like a loving Father.

Hell is out of character for a loving God.

Rewards and punishments, heaven and hell are control techniques used by the conservative establishment.

They have been corrupted by the ways of the world.

God's ways are different:

Mercy, forgiveness, compassion, goodness, love.

All these things come from God.

And this is good news for us all.

Gay.

You see that I am blessed.

And see my soul at rest.

But say that I am gay.

You take it all away.

And harden hearts anew.

To prove your point of view.

That sex with men is banned.

And God thinks sex is bad.

But God has blessed our rise.

And that is no surprise.

You say it can't be true.

That God must favor you.

Evidence.

                            

If you want evidence that rock music is Satanic just look at punk rock and rap music.

Punk rock began with the words: "I am an Anti-Christ; I am an anarchist....."

And it popularized self-mutilation and self-deprecation.

Rap music was criticized for its obscene lyrics and swearing.

It inspired belligerent violence in its fans.

None of these things is helpful or even tolerable.

But the catch-cry of censorship disabled any criticism.

These are both examples of the negativity with which rock music poisons its listeners.

And that's not counting backtracking and subliminal suggestion.

The Damage Done.

                                 

When we look at the changes since rock music was invented in the 1960s we can see a lot of damage done.

The drug problem did not exist before 1960.
Now millions are hooked and suffering.

Divorce was not a problem.
Now everyone is divorced.
And this has caused untold suffering.

Bad and sin, wicked and filthy we are corrupted and perverted.

Dark entertainment, even dark science, has taken over.

Sex has replaced love as the motivation for relationships.

Idealism is dead.

And religion is gone.

We are in darkness.

The blind lead the blind.

Pray!

Moral Panic.

                            

Because the writings of St. Paul threaten people with hell Church people are frozen in a mind-set of fear.

Objections to homosexuality and pre-marital sex are the direct results of moral panic inspired by St. Paul.

His writings on spirit and flesh are responsible for untold damage done both within and by the Churches.

But you will not find these ideas in Jesus' teachings.

In fact Jesus was known for eating with sinners and prostitutes.

His teachings are inclusive not exclusive.

It is St. Paul who excludes people from Heaven particularly those involved in sexual activity.

Paul was a member of an extremely strict sect of Pharisees who were conservative and celibate.

He never married.

The time has come to take a fresh look at Paul's writings in the light of modern scholarship.

Paul is plainly wrong when he says that homosexuals will not partake of Heaven.

Gay people are as acceptable to God as straight people.

And their love will not exclude them from Heaven.

It is time to re-vision our approach to sexuality in the light of the teachings of the historical Jesus.

Plainly God did not invent sex with the intention of proscribing it.

Only an insane God would do such a thing.

The intense pleasure associated with sex is clearly intended to encourage sexual activity not stop it.

It may be that God accepts a persons sacrifice of sexual activity.

But this is voluntary self-denial.

It is not a requirement to be universally applied.

God's Grace is inspired by Love.

And love is closer to sex than self-denial.

So we must overcome our fear with faith in the benevolence of God.

And accept that sex is an integral part of God's good creation.

Pray for Peace.

                            

We may feel powerless to stop the war machines rolling on.

We may feel depressed about the state of our world.

We may not know what to do.

Or how to help.

But there is one thing we can do.

And that is:

Pray for Peace.

You say that we are hopeless,

that gays all go to hell.

But there is news today

that will not go away.

Gay men go to Heaven.

God has promised even

the most lowly of His children

gay or straight or bi or trans

will live with Him

in His own Land.

Goodness and Evil.

                             

At the end of each episode of a famous 1960s comedy show the leading character would say: "If only they had used their talents for goodness instead of evil."

This was a standard joke but it was more true than we realized.

The world-wide market of popular music was used to spread evil.

The multi-media network has been used for evil.

The Internet has been used to spread lies and evil.

If only they had used these things for goodness instead of evil.

If only Generation X had used their highly powered psychic energy source for goodness instead of evil.

Our only chance is to try to turn these things around so that the world's technological and psychic systems are used for good.

This is a massive task.

Because most people do not even know that what they are consuming is evil.

They think it's a joke.

A rebellious lifestyle.

An alternative (backwards) philosophy.

But Satanism is real.

It is hell, and excrement, and suicide.

So look more closely at what you are watching and listening to.

It is not as harmless as you think.

Truth and Reconciliation.

                            

Before there can be reconciliation there must be truth.

We cannot just pretend we never did anything wrong.

We must admit to what we have done.

Only then can we receive forgiveness.

And experience reconciliation with God.

Legacy.

                            

The Beatles made us drug addicts.

Stairway to Heaven made us Anti-Christian.

Madonna made us materialistic.

Michael Jackson made us bad.

Show No Mercy made us cruel.

Generation X made us pure evil.

Black made us hate.

Generation Y made us sin.

Grunge made us filthy.

Harry Potter made us wicked.

Twilight made us monsters.


This is the legacy of Satanism in rock music and popular culture.

By threatening to sue governments and activist groups for loss of profits the corporations are making a play for absolute power.

And absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Once we experience the Love of God and know that Love is sure.

Then any attempts to undermine, contradict, or cancel that Love are powerless.

And once we know that sex is not a sin then all their efforts will be fruitless.

We will live and give our love to others.

Then we will be Home.

God makes us clean.

Jesus forgives.

God is good.

Heaven is merciful.

The Buddha teaches compassion.

We take the middle path.

With the Holy Spirit comes discipline.

Love God and love your neighbor.

Because

God is Love.

Michelangelo said that God was somehow involved in his creativity - he was not doing it all himself.

And this is how it is if we pray and if we are sincere in our adoration of God.

Somehow the Love is shared and distributed.

And we become co creators.

Judge No One.

                                    

"'The Father judges no one.'"  John 5:22 (NRSV)

"'Very truly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing, for whatever the Father does, the Son does likewise.'"  John 5:19 (NRSV)

"'You judge by human standards; I judge no one.'"  John 8:15 (NRSV)

Jesus says he, like the Father, judges no one.

So how can we anticipate a Judgement Day?

People have been predicting this Day for thousands of years but it never happens.

Perhaps we are justified in thinking that it will never happen.

Humankind has projected its expectation of Natural Justice onto God.

But God does not work in this way.

God is wholly good, wholly benevolent.

"The Lord is not slow about his promise, as some think of slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish." 2 Peter 3:9 (NRSV)

Rather than punishing us for our transgressions God waits for us to change.

He gives us another chance.

So, like God, we should refrain from judging others.

And offer them another chance.
