Darkness.

If we reject the Church and live our lives as if there is no God we are prey to all the negative influences in our society.

Corporate dictatorship, media control, advertising, Satanic rock music, dark movies, reality T.V......

All these things drag us down and rip us off.

If we accept the Church and believe that there is a God we are indoctrinated with negative doctrines and dogmas.

These traditional teachings have been handed down from generation to generation.

Unfortunately they are not true.  

Jesus said that the Pharisees did not know God.

And his priests still do not.

So go into your room and close the door.

Pray to God with all your heart.

He will answer you.

And His Light will deliver you from darkness.

Heaven on Earth.

We try to create Heaven on Earth by accumulating money and possessions.

We surfeit our bank accounts and beautify our homes.

But luxury cars and chandeliers will not create Heaven on Earth.

We are obsessed with the material.

And the material is empty.

What creates Heaven on Earth is love.

Human beings are attuned to love.

When there is love we feel good about life.

When there is no love we struggle.

To have your love requited is Heaven on Earth.

This, however, does not always happen.

So we must overcome our fears and open our hearts to everyone.

Then, if we give our love freely, we will always be in love. 

And there will be Heaven on Earth.

Make Love.

We are not here just to draw Love from the Heart of God.

Jesus said that the first commandment was to love God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your might.

And the second commandment was to love your neighbor as yourself.

So it is clear that we are not merely passive receivers of Love from God but we are to open our hearts and give love to God and our neighbor.

Jesus' only commandment was to love one another as he had loved us.

So we are to give our love freely.

And this will make us well.

Well.

"With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation."  Isaiah 12:3 (NRSV)

The Water Carrier draws water form the well.

And this water will make you well.

"'The water that I will give will become in then a spring of water gushing up to eternal life.'"  John 4:14 (NRSV)

The Water Jar is your heart.

And the water that flows from it is love.

The reservoir of water that supplies the well is the Love of God.

And this love will make you well.

Fear Not.

The Way of Good Works and the Way of Self-Denial are fueled by fear.

Fear that if we don't accumulate enough good works we will go to hell.

And fear that if we indulge in earthly pleasures we will go to hell.

But there is no hell in reality.

Hell is fear itself.

And there is no fear in God.

God loves us.

And all that He requires of us is love.

Evil.

Today in church was the first Sunday of Lent and we had the reading about the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness.

My take on this reading is that it is an attempt to explain our experience of evil in the world.

But contrary to the text I do not believe that evil has a supernatural origin.

I believe that evil in our world is the result of the ignorant actions of human beings with free-will.

Evil is the product of darkness and fear.

It is not the actions of some devil or dark forces.

The world offers temptation enough: power, money, status, oppression; prejudice, violence, abuse, hate.....

These things corrupt us and divert us from our purpose.

Which is Love.

Within.

Once we transcend the image of the three tiered Universe:

Heaven.

Earth.

Hell.

We enter the fifth dimension:

Within.

Entertainment.

Our entertainment is religiously evil.

Supernatural forces are invariably malevolent.

Thrillers are universally threatening.

Violence and hate dominate our culture.

And this is no accident.

 

It is done deliberately by evil people and those who would control us.

Increasing people's fear serves to elect a strong man who will protect us.

A dictator.

A tyrant.

Someone who will put down the threat.

So turn off your T.V. and stay home.

Pray that God will deliver us from evil.

God of Color.

God is a God of Color.

God is Light.

And so God is Color.

Black is darkness.

Black is sin, death, suicide.

Black is depression and negativity.

Black is evil.

But God is Good.

And God is Color.

Africa.

The situation for gay men and women in Africa is dire.

Many African countries are bringing in draconian laws criminalizing homosexuality.

Some are even introducing the death penalty.

Unfortunately this kind of moral indignation creates political power.

By making a despised minority a scapegoat unscrupulous politicians can galvanize the majority behind them.

Hitler called this Moral Ease.

And there is evidence that American hate groups are secretly financing these measures.

But Western governments will not introduce sanctions against them for fear of accusations of racism and colonialism.

So gay people are being left for dead.

And the world watches on.

Fairy Story.

In the not too distant future,

In the shelter of the Rainbow,

Will rise the Good Fairy.

His want is moderation.

And he has a tender heart.

He has the Seal of God in his hand 

And his forehead.

He will not be seduced by the dark

Or by demons.

But he will banish evil 

With the light of his mind.

He will wake the people

From their dreadful sleep,

And restore the good 

To its rightful place. 

None will perish

But all will be changed.

And his brothers will herald

A Golden Age!

Hypocrites!

The Church that I go to is like a holiday camp for the rich.

They spend their time swanning around the world on million dollar cruise ships while people are starving.

They cash in on the good points while ignoring the message.

They neglect their own congregations while claiming spiritual superiority.

They lock the doors of the church and shut their own doors on fellow worshippers.

They claim the credit for others' deeds. 

And they will not broach any criticism.

They make excuses when challenged.

  

And they threaten any dissent.

They give lip service to the Gospel.

And they avoid inconvenience.

All the while congratulating themselves on their goodness and holiness.

They are hypocrites!

And someone should say so.

In League with the Devil.

The right-wing political machine is in league with Satanists in our popular culture.

Contrary to popular belief Satanists in the music industry and in our entertainment and sports are not left-wing but hard right-wing.

They support white-supremacists and Fascist politicians.

And they use their Satanic magic to advance them.

It is part of the Right's hate campaign against the Left.

And it gives them tremendous power.

But a new generation us rising.

The Millennials (born 1996-2010) are left-wing politically and surprisingly well-informed.

It is yet to be seen whether they can revive the political Left or whether the hate and bribery of the Right will prevail.

Death.

With the advent of the Coronavirus everyone was hoping that their enemies would get the virus and die.

This was the origin of people claiming that the virus was punishment for homosexuality or Chinese Communism. 

But we also hope that our enemies die.

When Peter Dutton and Boris Johnson contracted the virus many rejoiced.

Unconsciously we thought this proved God's condemnation of their right-wing political views.

But at the root of this murderous hope is fear.

Fear of their right-wing agenda.

But we also have an agenda.

We both are trying to establish God's reign on Earth.

So fear is the problem.

Fear of God's punishment.

Unconscious fear of condemnation drives many to murderous thoughts.

We think that if only we could kill all the enemies of God all will be well.

But this is not the way.

And this is why Jesus said to love your enemies.

Because it is fear of God that drives them.

So we should pray for our enemies.

And rejoice in the Love of God.

Black.

"'The light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil.'"  John 3:19 (NRSV) 

Have you noticed that some people wear black or dark colors all the time?

They love darkness.

For their deeds are evil.

Black is a uniform in the corporate world.

"'For all who do evil hate the light and do not come to the light, so that their deeds may not be exposed.'"  John 3:20 (NRSV)

Darkness extends to entertainment and movies, even to science - dark mater, dark energy, black holes.....

We are in the grip of darkness.

But the Light is coming with Aquarius.

The starlight. the day.

Gradually, step by step, the Light is dawning.

Pope Francis, the Dalai Lama, Desmond Tutu, Richard Rohr, Jack Spong, Matthew Fox, Dominic Crossan, and many others are showing us a new way to vision spirituality.

And the hand of God is evident within it.

Progressive Religion is the New Paradigm.

This is the Light breaking into the darkness.

But those in darkness hate the Light and try to destroy it.

This is what happened to Jesus.

The Cross.

So try not to trigger their fears.

Show them the Light.

And pray for them to see.

Love Songs.

Have you ever noticed that most of the love songs put out by rock stars are about leaving love?

They never seems to be about successful love relationships.

They are about broken hearts.

Sex and drugs and rock and roll ruined two generations' relationships.

They are all divorced.

And this was done deliberately by Satanists in rock music.

They turned peace and love into war and hate.

And they asked: "What is more important love or immortality?"

These subversive tactics have left two-thirds of the population single.

And two generations without love.
