Heaven.

Contrary to popular opinion we do not have to earn our place in Heaven.

God puts us in Heaven out of sympathy for our suffering on Earth.

And everyone suffers on Earth.

So, rather than being excluded, gays and lesbians are the most qualified for Heaven because of the great suffering they have experienced on Earth.

Joy.

In my experience joy comes from God.

It is something you experience spontaneously when you make contact with God.

It is not something you can manufacture.

You cannot control it.

You cannot bottle it or sell it.

So be content to let God decide.

He is so much more wise than us.

The Tower.

Why do men

make war and business?

Threatening all

and taking risks.

We succumb to fear.

And forget what's dear.

Our minds controlled.

Our wallets sold.

Our principles grown stale and old.

We make a killing,

Make a sale.

And with our skills

We long to scale

The heights of commerce

And of power.

To reach the summit

of the Tower.

Reincarnation.

What happens when we die?

Some say that we are reincarnated.

Others say its heaven or hell.

In fact both are wrong.

Why?

Because both of these are human constructs.

In life we do not experience Natural Justice - rewards for good behavior and punishments for bad behavior - which is a human expectation.

So we have projected this expectation into the afterlife creating reincarnation or heaven or hell.

Both rely on the expectation of Natural Justice.

But Natural Justice is a human creation.

It is not part of God at all.

God is all good.

God is our loving Father.

And a father does not condemn his children.

God helps even those we would call evil.

God punishes no one.

Therefore there can be no hell.

And perhaps there is no reincarnation either.

Certainly not a reincarnation which balances out our karma.

So what are we to think?

God is good.

He is wholly trustworthy.

He will not punish us.

Put your trust in Him.

And all will be well.

Putting the Bottom Back In.

When Jesus preached forgiveness and love he well and truly blew the bottom out of the Pharisees' religion of rewards and punishments.

But after Jesus' was crucified his followers and priests put the bottom back in.

I believe that Jesus taught that everyone was forgiven and loved by God, that no one was condemned and no one would perish.

But later writers, beginning with St. Paul, returned to the crude religion of rewards and punishments, including heaven and hell.

This was reinforced at Nicaea after Christianity became the State Religion of Rome.

The inclusion of The Book of Revelation as the last word in the Bible was the last straw.

I believe that God punishes no one.

Therefore there is no Judgement - Personal or General.

And there is no hell.

But no doubt if we preach this religion of forgiveness and love the powers and authorities of this world will seek to reinstate the carrot and stick religion of rewards and punishments, heaven and hell.

Because it is this religion which ensures their power over the masses and maintains their position of privilege in the world.

Mercy.

Jesus said, "'Go and learn what this means, "I desire mercy not sacrifice."  For I have come to call not the righteous but sinners.'"  Matthew 9:13 (NRSV)

What could this mean?

It means that God does not judge us.
He wants us to show mercy.
As He does.

And He does not judge sinners either.
He shows them mercy.

So no one is condemned.

Negations.

Satanists in rock music deal in negations.

(Note the resemblance to Simon Templar - The Saint.)

Your Sins Are Forgiven.

How many times did Jesus say, "Your sins are forgiven"?

And how many times did he tell parables about the Lord writing off debts?

In The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant  (Matthew 18:23-35) a slave is forgiven his debt but refuses to forgive another slave who is in debt to him, for which he is rebuked.  Jesus likens this to the Kingdom of Heaven.

So, rather than battling evil and sin and trying to destroy them, we should be forgiving them and telling them that God will show them mercy.

God's mercy is infinite.

And His forgiveness is eternal.

Peace.

We were watching The Hollow Crown - Shakespeare's historical plays - and one of my friends said, "Henry VI was a weak king - he wanted peace all the time and he was always in church praying.  Of course this just caused more conflict and war."

This is a common attitude in today's world - we think a leader must be strong, even violent to keep the peace.

But this is Pax Romana - peace by force.

We think that the teachings of the Prince of Peace just won't work.

But has anyone ever tried them?

To turn the other cheek and return good for evil.
To have compassion for your enemies.
To show mercy.

These are the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth.

If we cry out to God will He not rescue us?

By some miracle we are saved.

Reconstructed.

During the 1980s we saw devils in heaven and Hippies in hell.

This, of course, is backwards.

It owes its nature to the inverse practices of Satanism in rock music and entertainment combined with the counter-revolutionary politics of Ronald Reagan.

Unfortunately the Hippie Generation were forcibly reconstructed.

All that remains is having a good time and holidays.

Any remnant of idealism is long forgotten.

But the ideals of peace and love that typified the Hippies were in fact closer to the nature of God than either the Traditional Church or the popular culture.

This, of course, is provided you can discriminate between peace and love and sex and drugs and rock and roll.

The Hippies rock legends disguised their diabolism as the sexual revolution of the 1960s and the decadence of the 1970s.

They were in fact no better than their X descendants.

But this is not the fault of the Baby-Boomer Generation whose idealism and spirituality were betrayed by their rock legends.

My prayer is that this idealism and spirituality can be resurrected without the parasites of rock and roll.

To do this we must distill the essence of Hippie idealism which is: peace, love, equality, compassion, non-violence, integrity, tolerance, and multi-culturalism.

From the detritus of rock music which is: promiscuous sex, drugs, decadence, anti-social behavior, indulgence, escapism, negativity, suicide, and hate.

Only then will the Age of Aquarius begin.

A Rock.

Once your decision

is made:

To stop the flow

of wayward thoughts.

You must be

A Rock.

Against storms

and tempests.

And the wash of dreams.

To turn your life

towards the Light.

Silence.

In the silence

Of the forests.

In the mists

Of the mountains.

In the rapids

Of the rivers.

In the depths

Of the seas.

In the azure

Of the skies.

In the green

Of plants and trees.

In the colors

Of flowers.

God's Cathedral

Can be seen.

The Truth.

Many fear God's wrath.

Many fear judgement and hell.

But this is not the truth.

The truth is that God loves you.

No matter what you have done.

No matter who you have been.

God loves you.

And He is waiting for you.

Waiting to embrace you.

Waiting to bless you.

And lead you Home.

Forgiveness.

How can we bring an end to all feuds?

Forgiveness.

There can be no resolution without forgiveness.

In South Africa the Truth and Reconciliation Commission was built on forgiveness.

First the perpetrators of crimes were required to admit their guilt then the victims were requested to forgive them.

Without this forgiveness there would have been festering wounds which could have seen a bloodbath.

So forgiveness is vital.

Without forgiveness there can be no peace.

Heaven.

It is the bane

Of humankind

That we try to make

A heaven for ourselves

On Earth:

Made of mortar and of bricks,

Of wealth and of possessions.

But find in fact

A desert and a prison.

Forgetting first

The Heaven that is

Love.

Heaven and Earth.

On Earth

We suffer

The society of men:

We work.

We struggle.

We strive.

We compete.

We serve corrupt masters.

We surrender to fear.

We condone the waging of perpetual war.

And ignore the plight of the world's most poor.

But Heaven and Earth

Are full of God's Glory!

Golden wattles bloom.

Majestic clouds drift on high.

Mighty mountains touch the sky.

Fathomless seas surround our land.

Everywhere green plants abound.

A garden world with flowers crowned.

Rapid rivers run.

We bask in Summer sun.

We welcome Winter rains.

Quietly we sit in peace.

Forgetting our world's pains.

And pray humbly for forgiveness

For all the world's disdain.

False Premise.

Satanism is based on a false premise.

The primary assumption of Satanism is that God is harsh and judgemental.

They say He is a bastard.

This notion originates with the Church which preaches an angry, punitive God.

Neither of them know God.

God is wholly good.
God is benevolent.
God does not punish anyone.

Therefore there is no Judgement - Personal or General.

There is no devil.

And there is no hell.

So Satanism is based on a false premise.

Positives.

Accentuate the positives.

Satanism in rock music pushes the negatives - the negatives of your star signs, the negatives of your generational group.

If you listen to them or follow their prompt you are feeding the negative side of your personality and this induces intense suffering.

You will hate those who love you.
You will cheat on your partner.
You will break off relationships.
You will indulge in vices.
You will blame the innocent.

All these things are hidden in rock music.

But if you accentuate the positives your life will improve dramatically.

You will appreciate those who love you.
You will be grateful for your blessings.
You will be faithful to your partner.
You will discover new virtues and talents.
You will experience love and happiness.

So don't listen to the negative messages in rock music - overt or covert.

You deserve better than that.

Find the positives.

And feed them.

If you pray God will help you.

The Compensations of Art.

When life lets us down and we experience disappointment and failure art can be a real compensation.

The joys of art include stimulation of the intellect and of the imagination.

Art can help us understand life.

Art can move us to tears.

Art can touch our hearts.

So do not underestimate the value of art in our quest.

Art can be a real compensation.

The Flower That Does Not Fade.

When you begin to open your heart and give love to others your heart blossoms like a flower.

But, unlike the flowers of the earth, this flower does not fade.

It continues to blossom and become more beautiful as time goes on.

The more love you give the more love there is to give.

Love flows from an infinite source within our hearts.

And this is because God is Love.

So love God and love others.

Then the Flower of Love will never fade.

Happiness.

The Dalai Lama says that the purpose of life is happiness.

But my experience is that the more you pursue happiness the more it slips away from you - like a mirage.

Certainly if you seek happiness in material things you will be richer materially but you will lose contact with your own soul.

We are happier with less.

The purpose of life is love.

Or more precisely to learn how to love.

Happiness is a side-effect.

The way of the heart leads to both love and compassion.

This is the light of the Buddha and of Jesus.

A True Home.

When I think of the millions of people trapped in refugee camps in our world I pray that we in the West can open our hearts to them .

This would mean that we don't just provide for them a house but we make for them a place in our hearts.

Then we would provide for them a true home.

Immigrants.

When I think of the thousands of immigrants in our country I can see that the fear in our population affects them severely.

Chinese immigrants, Indian immigrants, and people from many other countries, including Muslim countries, are frozen out of our culture.

They are outsiders.

And it is cold outside.

So, rather than considering them a threat, we should open our hearts to them and make for them a new home.

Who has suffered and who's heart is broken just like you.

Satanism.

Satan is not real.

But Satanism is real.

Satanism is alive and well and living in our popular culture.

A surprising number of people sell their souls to the devil and do his work in the world.

Or so they believe.

This is mostly inspired by the success of 1960s rock legends.

They are famous.

And they use the mass media for their evil purposes.

So unplug your earphones and turn off the T.V..

Turn to God.

He will deliver you.

Gay.

Because some Satanists are homosexual does not mean that all homosexuals are Satanists.

Neither does it mean that gay sex is Satanic.

Some Satanists are gay but the large majority are heterosexual.

And many are women.

Witchcraft and magic are perceived as power for women in a man's world.

So don't blame homosexuals for the evils of this world.

There are plenty of heterosexuals who do the devil's work.

Home.

It is not sufficient merely to believe that Jesus is the Christ.

It is not sufficient merely to confess that Jesus is King.

It is not sufficient merely to serve God with your lips.

It is not sufficient merely to obey the rules.

It is not sufficient merely to do good works out of fear.

It is not sufficient merely to love your family and friends.

It is not sufficient merely to turn up on Sundays.

What is required is a commitment to Jesus' teachings of love and forgiveness for everyone.

God punishes no one.

He loves and redeems evil people and apostates.

And we must do the same.

Then we will be Home.

Scapegoat.

It is the objective of some in our society to make of gays and lesbians a scapegoat.

It is not difficult to persecute a minority group especially when there is fear surrounding them.

The persistence of AIDS makes gays and lesbians a soft target.

So don't listen to those who tell you gays are to blame for our ills.

Gays are no more to blame than anyone else.

And God does not discriminate.

What Makes the World Go Round?

What is it that makes the world what it is?

It is not money, or power, or violence.

What makes the world go round is fear.

Fear drives those with money.

Fear makes people seek power.

Fear makes people violent.

If they had a tiny seed of faith they would be free of avarice, lust, and anger.

But they say. "God has forsaken the Earth."

And war rages on.

Status Quo.

If we merely reinforce the Status Quo Religion will die out and the world will be left at the prey of evil people.

We cannot afford to just do things the way they have always been done.

This way has been rejected.

We must invoke a more compassionate God.
A God who forgives.
A God who loves us.

We must banish the God of judgement and vengeance.
We must forget the God of anger and hate.

God does not repay us tit-for-tat for our sins.

This is the way of the world.
It is not the way of God.

God is bigger than that.

He forgives our mistakes.

And He loves us like a Father.

God's Reign.

Like a gentle rain

from Heaven,

God's Blessing

Surrounds us,

God's Mercy

Confounds us,

God's Grace

Astounds us.

Like a miracle

God touches us.

(The image has been slightly modified,)

Generation X.

The truth about Generation X is that they resorted to evil and violence to win.

Rejecting the Baby-Boomers' ideal of peace and love they set about disproving it by force.

And they conspired with Satan to achieve it.

They were infatuated with the devil and the dark side.

They bragged that they were pure evil.

Their entertainment was horror and violence.

They were blasphemous and they were bad.

And they tried to lie and cheat their way out of it.

But this supernatural duplicity is not the truth.

They cannot lie to God.

They cannot cheat Heaven.

They are living backwards.

And they are suckers for Satanism.

So sooner or later they will have to eat humble pie.

They have massive egos.

They are moral relativists.

And they are spiritual cowards.

So there you have it:

The truth about Generation X.

Our Corporate Masters.

Not only does Satanism feed the negatives of each generational group but they corrupt our corporate masters.

At the Barcelona Olympics the Opening Ceremony included something called The Devil's Rain  which showed all manner of evil and horrors from hell.  This was conducted by Japanese rock musician Riuichi Sakamoto.

At the London Olympics the Opening Ceremony featured the (evil) Rings of Power and a segment called Pandemonium which is the name of the capital of hell in Milton's Paradise Lost.
It also depicted cigar smoking plutocrats from the Industrial Revolution.
The rest was rock music.

These are evil things designed by the guilty to tempt those in positions of power - i.e. those rich enough to make up the audiences at those Olympic Ceremonies.

And I'm sure there are many other ways in which Satanists in our culture corrupt older generations.

This is why the world is becoming darker. more violent, colder, more unjust and unforgiving every day.

And no one seems to know why.

The Way of Peace.

When Jesus was arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane one of his followers drew his sword and cut off the ear of the slave of the High Priest.

"Then Jesus said to him, 'Put your sword back into its place, for all who take up the sword will perish by the sword.'"  Matthew 26:52 (NRSV)

So it is clear that Jesus' way is not the way of the sword.

This contradicts all who follow The Book of Revelation and all who practise Spiritual Warfare.

It contradicts even the theory of a Just War.

So, if we are not to fight against evil, what are we to do?

"'You have heard that it was said, "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth."  But I say to you, Do not resist an evildoer.  But if anyone strikes you on the right cheek, turn the other also.'"  Matthew 5:38,39 (NRSV)

This is Jesus' teaching.

It is the way of non-violent benevolence.

It is the Way of Peace.

Celibacy.

Rather than thinking of celibacy as a Christian doctrine that superseded the Pagan attitude, which was much more accepting of sex as a part of nature, we should realize that attitudes involving abstinence from sex are far more ancient than St. Paul.

In fact St. Paul's attitude towards sex was nurtured by the strict sect of celibate Pharisees to which he belonged before his conversion to Christianity.

You will not find this doctrine in Jesus' teachings.

Ascetics existed in the Ancient World.

In fact they are one of the oldest manifestations of religion.

One of the first characters to appear in the Mahabharata - Bishma - vows to abjure the love of women, for which he is praised by heaven.

But the Bhagavad-Gita states that the way of the heart is greater than those who mortify the body, greater than the learned, greater than the doers of good works.

So it is not essential to abstain from sexual activity to attain spiritual enlightenment.

God accepts us as we are.

Pleasure in Heaven.

When I say that gay sex is O.K. with God there are serious implications.

One theory of Salvation claims that you cannot have pleasure on Earth and still go to Heaven.

As if it was a trade - pleasure on Earth for pleasure in Heaven.

But does this mean that married couples - who have sex an average of 2 to 3 times a week - don't go to Heaven?

Obviously not.

So why would this rule apply to others - to homosexuals and people who are not married?

This is a double standard.

And God does not deal in double standards.

So this theory of pleasure on Earth for pleasure in Heaven is bankrupt.

I believe that all people go to Heaven.

Regardless of their pleasures on Earth.
