Persecutions.

Jesus said that the Good News is "with persecutions". (Mark 10:30)

And when people persecute you "on my account" (Matthew 5:11) you should rejoice.

This is to say that the Good News of the mercy and forgiveness of God may cause fear and violence in the world.

But the Love and forgiveness of God are better than any reactionary attacks that may occur.

We must forgive them and pray for them to overcome the fears that inspired their attacks.

For we have nothing to fear from God.

His Love is an incomparable treasure.

And nothing can take that away.
