What is it that makes people store up wealth for themselves om Earth?
It is fear.
Fear of poverty.
The most materialistic people are those who have grown up in poverty.
Their fear is so great that they never feel as if they have enough.
Those who inherit wealth inherit this fear-driven philosophy from their parents.
But Jesus told the rich man to sell all his possessions and give the money to the poor and he would have treasure in Heaven.
