The Next 2000 Years.

                            

Just as the Christian Era left behind the primitive practice of blood sacrifice to the gods.

So the next 2000 years will leave behind the primitive concept of God as a punitive arbiter and judge.

Gay Heaven.

                   

Do sexually active gay men go to Heaven?

Of course they do.

Despite what some religious people may tell you I can state categorically that gay men go to Heaven.

How do I know this?

Because God has spoken to me and promised us Heaven.

Gay people are not condemned by God.

They are more in keeping with the martyrs than the damned.

Wages.

                            

"The wages of sin is death."  Romans 6:23 (NRSV)

Death to God.

This is what they believe.

So they encourage you to sin in the hope that it will lead to death and hell.

Listen closely to the lyrics of rock songs.
Look closely at the images of rock videos.

You will find sin and death, even hell there.

Everything's going up in flames.

This is hell-fire.

Black. Darkness. Night.

All these things are evil.

They want you in the power of the devil.

But the devil is not real.

He is just an illusion.

But their malice and sabotage remain.

We are cursed.

So unplug your earphones and throw away your C.D.s and D.V.D.s.

Pray to God.

And He will deliver you.

Seek God.

                            

Satanism seeks to addict us to drugs, alcohol, sex, food, pleasure, thrills, shopping, watching, listening.....

Anything which will distract us and cost us money.

We have grown used to their constant malice.
We think it is normal.

But life should be so much better than this.

A relationship with God brings joy, peace, hope, happiness, and love.....

We are lifted up and restored to health.

We are forgiven. We are saved.

We are loved.

God does not punish us.

God seeks our wellbeing.

God cares.

So do not seek the glittering prizes of the world.

Seek God.

And the rest will follow.

Imperialism.

                            

As we saw with the British Empire we are now seeing the U.S.A. imposing its monoculture in everyone.

This includes its religion.

American Evangelical Fundamentalism with its intolerance, judgementalism, and tough guy approach and with its gay scapegoat is spreading around the globe.

But this is not some modern religious revival it is merely the influence of the dominant culture in our world.

I would suggest that they look to their own sins before pointing the finger at minority groups.

U.S.A.

                                         

"This was the guilt of your sister Sodom, she and her daughters had pride, excess of food, and prosperous ease, but did not aid the poor and the needy."  Ezekiel 16:49 (NRSV)

No mention of homosexuality.

And yet this sounds strangely familiar.

It describes the U.S.A..

Pride, excess of food, and prosperous ease.
Not aiding the poor and the needy.

In the U.S.A. the minimum wage is so low that people have to work 3 & 4 jobs just to survive.

They have little unemployment relief and no public health care system.

"Was not your sister Sodom a byword in your mouth in the day of your pride?"  Ezekiel 16:56 (NRSV)

And yet the religious right in the U.S.A. has made homosexuality a scapegoat.  Claiming that the Bible condemns it.

I would suggest that they look to their own sins before pointing the finger at minority groups like gays and lesbians and immigrants.

"I will restore their fortunes, the fortunes of Sodom and her daughters and the fortunes of Samaria and her daughters, and I will restore your own fortunes along with theirs."  Ezekiel 16:55 (NRSV)

"As for your sisters, Sodom and her daughters shall return to their former state, Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former state, and you and your daughters shall return to your former state."  Ezekiel 16:55 (NRSV)

This is the promise of God - to restore the fortunes of Sodom.

So don't make homosexuality a scapegoat based on Biblical injunctions.

It may not mean what you think.

Status Quo.

                            

We are the guardians of the Status Quo.

We endorse our wealthy lifestyles at the expense of those who are starving.

We sail by those who are drowning on our pleasure cruises.

We take our dividends and ask no questions.

We rationalize our privileges.

And we call ourselves Christians.
