Pleasure Cruises.

                            

My magazines and websites are full of advertising for expensive pleasure cruises and holidays.

Is it any wonder that Third World countries become radicalized when we ignore their plight and indulge in these luxuries.

We cannot expect to go on expensive holidays twice a year.

People are starving.
People are drowning in the sea.
Children are being kidnapped.

And don't tell me you are helping their economies.
How many countries mired in poverty have you visited?
It is not their economies you are aiding.
You aid the rich countries where you can live in luxury.

It is time for us to realize that we cannot sustain our wealthy lifestyles in the face of poverty and war.

We must share our wealth with those who are starving.

The secret of life

is not:

getting what you want,

gratifying desires,

pursuing pleasures,

winning,

succeeding.....

The secret of life

is Love.

Have a Heart!

First Steps.

                            

The first steps we must take to create a better world are:

1. To make the multi-national corporations pay tax in the countries in which they make their profits.

2. To get the teachings of religions right by eliminating negative doctrines and creating positive ones.

3. To make it known that rock music and popular culture contain covert Satanism and black magic which is cursing everyone.

4. To commence dialogue with hostile forces in an attempt to reduce conflict in our world.

If we concentrate on these first steps we will be heading in the right direction.

Preparing a Place.

                            

"'I go to prepare a place for you.'"  John 4:2 (NRSV)

What will it take to prepare a place for you in the Church?

First of all there must be a willingness within the Church to change.

If we stick stubbornly to the way things have always been done the Church will die.  Because this way has been rejected.

What must we be prepared to change?

The Church's attitude to sexuality must change.
We must develop a healthy attitude which views sex, including homosexual sex, as a natural part of God's good creation.

We must re-interpret the Bible as a narrative which utilizes many styles including: myth, history, poetry, and metaphor.

We must reconcile scripture with the realities of science.

We must replace negative doctrines with positive ones.

We must free our minds from all hatred and prejudice.

But most of all we must open our hearts and give love to those who come.  Because it is through love that we are saved.

Noble.

                   

There have been many noble homosexuals throughout history:

T.E. Lawrence (of Arabia), Virginia Wolfe, Tchaikovsky, Shakespeare, Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, Richard the Lionheart, King David, Socrates and Sappho.....

The city states of ancient Greece embraced homosexuality without exception.

Their art, literature, and religion contain many beautiful examples of homosexual love.

So we should not be deterred by modern negativity.

Homosexuality can be an expression of the most pure and uplifting human nobility.

Slavery.

                            

As recently as the 19th Century slavery, especially in America, was supported by many Christians.

They quoted passages from the Bible to justify their use of slaves.

It is the same today with homosexuality.

Christians quote passages from the Bible to justify their prejudice.and discrimination.

In the future these Christians will be viewed in the same way as we now view those who used the Bible to support slavery.

Death Wish.

                            

The beautiful children are cursed.

Sex and drugs and rock and roll bring with it a death wish.

And this is no coincidence.

Death is the basis of black magic and Satanism which is hidden in rock music.

Think Death Metal, Megadeath etc..

But it is not only Heavy Metal bands which practise Satanism.

All rock musicians embrace it whether overtly or covertly.

So be aware that the culture of decadence and excess which derives from rock music is evil and leads to death*.


(*Death is the nominal spiritual state of separation from God.)
