The Answer.

                                      

You should not be surprised when I say that violence is caused by fear.

Psychology has long known that fear triggers the fight or flight response.

So fear can make us attack.

The answer then is to allay people's fears.

And how can we allay people's fears?

With Love.

The Problem.

                              

The way of knowledge will say that ignorance is the problem.

The way of altruism will say that ego is the problem.

The way of enlightenment will say that darkness is the problem.

The way of works will say that selfishness is the problem.

But I say that the way is the way of love.

And fear is the problem.

The System.

                            

The inequality in our world has become so extreme that now just 8 men own the equivalent of half the world's population (3.6 billion).

1 in 10 people survive on less than $2 per day.

The top 10% consume 60% of the world's resources.

And this is protected by the System.

Shareholders, banks, corporate executive bonuses, accounting procedures, financial privacy conventions, secrecy, collusion, and corruption.

All these things are contributing to inequality.

And if you challenge any of it you are told that it is privileged information protected by privacy laws.

Or you get a letter that is straight out of 1984 - Black/White, New Speak, The Ministry of Truth - designed to hide the truth.

And corporate executives claim ignorance whenever corruption or exploitation are discovered.

"We knew nothing about it."

This is done by subcontracting to companies with dubious business practices and asking no questions.

And no one seems ever to be charged.

But the major crime is tax avoidance.

Corporations transfer internal revenue to tax havens and pay no tax.

This costs poor countries $100 bn per year.

And our governments are cutting foreign aid claiming they don't have the money.

This is blatant corruption.

It is evil.

And it is untenable.

God save us from the System.

Rock Music.

                            

The Religious Right say that all rock music is Satanism.

But they associate this with Liberalism and left-wing politics.

This is why they call Obama the Anti-Christ.

But this is to take what rock music presents at face value.

In fact Satanism is right-wing (Nazism) and Orthodoxy backwards.

What they present on the surface is a lure.

Evil is hidden beneath.

For example: peace and love are important teachings of Jesus of Nazareth.

Social Justice is a strong aspect of the Old Testament prophets.

But rock legends turned peace and love into sex and drugs and rock and roll.

And Social Justice into license.

So they are wrong to treat the Hippies as agents of Satan.

They are the victims of Satan.

And they are wrong to treat Socialism as godless Communism.

Their assumptions have missed the mark.

And they have resulted in much evil in our world.

The time has come to make peace.

We can all pray for that.

The Church.

                  

Before there can be any religious revival in our world we have to make sure that the Churches are O.K..

It's no use telling people to go back to church if the Churches remain sexist, homophobic, sex-phobic, irrational, dictatorial, unreasonable, and exclusive.

That would do no one any good.

So we must work to open the Churches to progressive ideas.

Ideas like: inclusiveness, dialogue, openness, a healthy image of the body, acceptance of sex, Original Blessing, unconditional love, and celebration of gay weddings etc..

Once we have opened up the Churches to these new ideas it will be safe for people to return.

But not before.

New Wineskins.

                            

"'And no one puts new wine into old wineskins, otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and the wine is lost, and so are the skins; but one puts new wine into fresh wineskins.'"  Mark 2:22 (NRSV)

Just so, we do not seek to preach the new vision to elderly people who are too old to change their ways.

We seek to enlighten young people who have never heard the Good News and can accommodate it without prejudice.

And so we do not preach in church but on the Internet where we can reach fresh minds and hearts.

Books.

                            

In the Koran the Jews are called People of the Book.

But Muslims could just as easily be called People of the Book.

In fact we are all People of the Book be it scripture or philosophy, sutra or manifesto, ideology or idolatry, even fiction.....

But the problem with books is that although they may contain fragments of truth they also contain errors.

And these errors result in conflict and violence, even bloodshed and war.

Assumptions of infallibility are obsolete.

We must read our books with discrimination.

For example any suggestion of Divine violence, punishment, terror, or torture should be questioned.

Any unlikely claims or statements should be put to the test.

At first we doubt that words have been put into the mouths of prophets, even into the mouth of God.

But evidence from modern scholarship would suggest that this is exactly what has happened.

Traditions arise from commentaries on the scriptures and are enforced as if they were the words of scripture itself.

So read with discrimination.

Ask yourself: "Why has the author written in this way?"

And you may be closer to the truth.

Gay.

                            

What do you see when I say the word Gay?

Do you see an effeminate?

Do you see a prodigal?

Do you see a libertine?

Do you see a devil?

Or.

Do you see a sensitive soul?

Do you see a creative genius?

Do you see a free spirit?

Do you see an angel?

Alive!

                            

I am a gay man.

I am sexually active.

And I'm Alive!

By Alive I mean in a loving relationship with God.

Homosexuality is not a sin.

So it does not induce death - i.e. separation from God - if that were possible.

Neither does it warrant hell.

I know that I will go to Heaven when I die.

God has promised me this.

And not just me but all gay men.

I am a gay man.

And I'm Alive!

Money Men.

                   

When Generation X and Ronald Reagan rebelled against the idealism of the Baby-Boomers they were backed up by the Money Men.

A return to materialism and right-wing politics suited their purpose perfectly.

And subsequently Ronald Reagan has been hailed as a hero and Generation X have been whitewashed by the mass-media which is owned by the plutocrats.

Any deviance from this posture is attacked and ridiculed.

But Ronald Reagan is long gone.

And Generation X are old.

A new Generation of Millennials is rising and the idealism of the Baby-Boomers may return in some form.

Activists on the Internet and charity organizations are working for a fairer world.

There is a glimmer of hope.

Pray for us.

God's Favor.

                            

God does not favor one person over another.

God does not favor one nation over another.

God does not favor one race over another.

God is the God of all.

And all peoples have experiences of God.

So all peoples should look to their religions and find the heart of their teachings.

Then we will truly be His sons and daughters.

What Remains.

                            

Some people say that once you start changing things and getting rid of the negative doctrines of the Church that there will be nothing left.

But this is not true.

Once we replace the rigid rules associated with religion what is left is not nothing.

What remains is the unconditional Love of God.

Kundalini.

                            

In Yoga the power of Kundalini is represented as a snake.

But Western Satanic magicians have appropriated the power of Kundalini for Satan because in Western mythology the snake is the devil.

This is a gross misinterpretation of the symbolism.

The power of Kundalini comes from God not the devil.

So Satanic associations are irrelevant.

In India the snake represents the primordial creative power of God.

It has been misinterpreted and misapplied as Satanic nonsense.

Avignon.

                   

In his Avignon Quintet Lawrence Durrell created a quincunx of novels.

That is a central book surrounded by four subsidiary books.

The central book is called "Monsieur or The Prince of Darkness."

And in this book the characters visit a remote Egyptian oasis where they are initiated into some sort of Gnostic sect.

The participants have visions of Satan and afterwards their mentors explain that the devil rules the world and that he is the snake or the Kundalini of Yoga.

These are Satanic lies.

The revelations seem fascinating at first but they do not stand the scrutiny of time.

At the end of this central book is an Envoi - "D - created Blanford - created....."

D is the devil.

Death.

                                     

The reason that Shakespeare and others referred to sexual orgasm as death was because in sexual orgasm we transcend the self - i.e. we die to self.

Now dying to self was a good thing - it was a Christian principle that led to serving God.

But Satanic magicians have usurped this term and applied it as death to God as St. Paul described.

"For the wages of sin is death."  Romans 6:23 (NRSV)

Thus associating sexual orgasm with sin.

This is a gross misuse of language.

A deliberate lie.

Which is designed to damn everyone.

So ignore any suggestion that sex is death to God.

Sex is death to self which is a great virtue.

The Last Piece.

                            

The last piece of the puzzle is the knowledge that rock music is disguised Satanism.

Since the 1960s rock stars have been selling their souls and poisoning and betraying everyone.

This evil is disguised in their music and videos.

Peace and love became sex and drugs and rock and roll.

Idealism is dead.

And everyone is distracted.

"Don't have an agenda, just have a good time."

Party, sin, transgress, fxxk.

This is modern Satanism.

It is spreading through our entertainment and sports.

And we are all in its spell.

The Puzzle.

                            

The puzzle of our modern world is a mystery to everyone.

The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

The Church is dying.

And no one cares.

We are all distracted.

We all consume.

Idealism is dead.

And war rages on.

Government replies are straight out of 1984.

And we are all in the dark.

This, of course, is deliberate.

The rich own the media.

And our politicians.

And they are in league with evil.

The hierarchies of the Churches are blind.
They teach human precepts for doctrines.

But God is real.

He does not punish us.
He does not judge us.

He loves us all like His children.

He is beautiful and transcendent.
Wholly good and wholly benevolent.

The carrot and stick religion of rewards and punishments has more to do with maintaining worldly authority and power than divine authority and sovereignty.

Open your eyes!

Turn off the T.V. and learn about the true religion.

And that is Love.

The problem with most New Age Gurus is that they concentrate on me.

They tell you how to get what you want out of life.

But this is merely mind games.

And it does not work.

They will tell you that you can control what is in your life by your own thoughts.

But this is not true.

It is an abuse of Eastern meditation techniques.

Replacing negative thoughts with positive thoughts helps us to cope with the stress and suffering of life.

But suggesting that we can control what comes into our lives by our thoughts is folly.

It won't happen.

They are just telling you what you want to hear.

And making a lot of money out of it.

So don't listen to New Age Gurus who tell you you can get what you want out of life.

It simply won't happen.

Spiritual development is about what we give.

And not just giving so we can receive.

It has been said that to be loved is good but to love is better.

Give love.

And learn the secret of life!

Color.

The Color of Love.

Evil.

                            

If there is no devil and no dark forces then where does evil come from?

What we call evil is mostly the actions of ignorant human beings with free will.

Some human beings will embrace a kind of Spiritual Dualism and choose evil over good.

But I believe that Dualism is a false theology.

God is One and His creation is Good.

Then how do we explain creeping things and serpents and scorpions and wild animals like lions and tigers?

My thesis is that these are manifestations of fear - they say "Be afraid of me".

And they have evolved by way of that fear.

Fear drives violence and greed.

But contact with God assuages our fears.

And propagates peace.

"The wolf and the lamb shall feed together,
the lion shall eat straw like the ox.....
They shall not hurt or destroy on all my holy mountain."
Isaiah 65:25 (NRSV)

So the problem is not evil but fear.

So what becomes of them when they die?

Perhaps, like the larvae, they are transformed into beautiful butterflies.

Submerged.

                            

We are submerged in evil.

Secret Satanism saturates our culture.

Subliminal messages play constantly in pubs.

Our entertainment is dark and sinister.

Hellfire assails us.

We are drowning in death.

How can we counter this tidal-wave of evil?

They cooperate with hate.

They control us and divert us.

From where will goodness come?

Look for the Light.

Embrace Life.

Show Mercy and Love.

Pray with a sincere heart.

God will answer.

And deliver us from evil.

David.

                                       

In the Psalms David describes his experience of God.

He echoes Moses in Psalm 145:

"The Lord is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love."  Psalm 145:8 (NRSV)

But, like Moses, David believed that God punishes the wicked.

"The Lord watches over all who love him,
but all the wicked he will destroy."  Psalm 145:20 (NRSV)

This is the expectation of Natural Justice which human beings have projected onto God.

But God does not destroy the wicked.

His mercy and forgiveness extend even to those we call evil.

For they are also sons and daughters of God.

The Beatitudes.

                            

When we first hear the Beatitudes they seem enigmatic, even unreal.

They seem to turn our experience of the world on its head.

But the key to understanding the Beatitudes is that they represent the values of the Kingdom of God not the values of the world.

These are the attitudes and values that come from God.

And it is these that Jesus was attempting to establish on Earth.

So as disciples of Jesus of Nazareth we should strive to embody the values of the Kingdom of God.

As set out in the Beatitudes.

Gay Marriage.

                            

The Uniting Church in Australia has allowed the celebration of Same-Sex Marriages within the Uniting Church.

This decision was tempered by the proviso that individual Ministers and Church Councils can refuse on the grounds of personal conscience.

The rationale behind this decision is that although there are passages in the Bible that seem to condemn homosexuality these passages are disputed and alternate interpretations should be respected.

The Uniting Church is not a literalist Church.

We respect the diversity of sources of scripture and of scholarly interpretation.

Homosexuality is seen as a part of the diversity of God's good creation and is therefore not to be demonized.
