A Different Perspective.

                              

Once it is established that God's home is in the heart we begin to see things from a different perspective.

No longer do we insist on mental principles motivated by fear.

No longer do we moralize and judge.

No longer do we use force and violence.

But we ask, "What does my heart say?"

If we do this we will make concessions according to compassion.

If we do this we will seek understanding not rectitude.

If we do this we will act out of love not fear.

Then we will be Home.

And God will dwell with us.

Water.

Water flows freely around obstacles.

It finds its level.

That level is the same everywhere.

All are equally blessed.

Aquarius.

                            

What is the meaning of Aquarius?

The Water Carrier shoulders a jar which holds the mysterious water.

This is the Water of Life, which is love.

And it is dispensed without prejudice to everyone.

The Egyptian hieroglyph of the jar, ab, means the heart .

And it is from our hearts that the water flows.

From an infinite source within us love wells up and flows freely to those around us.

This is the meaning of Aquarius.

We are Water Carriers if we give freely of our love.

God Reigns.

Not in the world.

But over my heart.

Everything.

                            

Some philosophical and theological systems teach that God is in control of everything, that in some way every event is an expression of God's Will.

Thus the ancient prophets of Israel preached that God's chosen people must have sinned because their enemies had overrun them and destroyed their homeland.

Because God reigns.

This seems to me to be a false notion.

I cannot see how God can be expressing Himself in the wars in Iraq and Syria.
I cannot see how God can be expressing Himself in violence and starvation.
I cannot see how God can be expressing Himself in materialism and evil.

Rather I see these things as the ignorant actions of human beings with free will which are mostly motivated by fear.

God is not to blame.

You may wonder how people who pray five times a day could rape and murder in the name of God.

This is because most of their piety is fear and their prayers are recited by rote - their faith is dead and God does not speak to them or through them.

So, although I believe that God is in everything and everyone and God is everything and more, I do not believe that everything that happens is in tune with God's Will.

God's Will is that we love one another.

The rest is fear.

Mayhem.

                                         

When the young son of a member of our congregation arrived in church wearing a t-shirt sporting an image of the skull and cross bones with the word Mayhem above it I felt obliged to say something.

When I said to the father that the image and words were Satanic, probably from a rock band, he said he didn't know anything about that.

So was the boy just trying to look tough?

Fashion?

Are people doing these thing without knowing what it is?

It would seem so.

Masculine and Feminine.

                                              

Jesus was a very feminine man.

He was soft (not hard), gentle (seldom aggressive), forgiving (not punishing), and loving (non-violent).

When someone called Jesus effeminate my minister became angry and upset.

The same thing happened when someone suggested that Jesus might have been gay.

These are examples of gender bias and homophobia in religion.

If God is both masculine and feminine then He actually resembles gay men and women who have a strong combination of both sexes.

But God is not only feminine either.
His love is steadfast.
His truth is uncompromising.
His faithfulness is eternal.

He is strong (but sensitive), powerful (but non-violent), intelligent (and artistic), creative, loyal, reliable, and courageous.

So God manifests both masculine and feminine qualities as the Father/Mother of all creation.

Lamp.

Raise a lamp

and see!

Devils target you.

They poison and corrupt you.

They call you monster and beast.

They call you punisher and dominator.

Because your beauty

surpasses all.

And your body

inspires sex.

They drag everyone

to hell.

See!

And respond:

You are an angel.

A big softie.

A gentle giant.

With a big heart.

And a firm hand.

Demonstrative.

Generous.

And Loving.

Sex-Phobia.

                            

The Church still harbors secret fears about sex.

Ideas of sacrifice and self-denial still linger in the religious sub-culture.

As if God would barter with us.

But in a world where gratification is instant and sex is universal to teach that sex is sinful is a sure sign of defeat.

Sex is a natural part of life.

And it should not be used to bargain with the spirit.

But the Church still clings to tradition.
And the writings of St. Paul.

Better to follow the teaching of Jesus and refuse to condemn sex altogether.

God's Gay Sons.

                   

What is it that makes some religious people so angry when they see two men kissing?

What is it that makes them threaten, and bash, even kill them?

It is fear disguised as righteous indignation.

They imagine that gays offend God.

But the world does not know God.

God punishes no one.

God loves gays as a father loves his gay sons.

There is no condemnation there.

Pray to understand.

Pray to overcome your fear.

And God will answer you with Love.

The Rules.

                            

Making Them and Breaking Them:

When it comes to religion there are two types of people:

Rule makers
and
Rule breakers.

These two types are represented in astrology by the planets Saturn (rule-makers) and Uranus (rule-breakers).

These are represented in Judaism by the House of Judah (Saturn) and the House of Joseph (Uranus) - the two Kingdoms of Israel.

"The word of the Lord came to me: Mortal, take a stick and write on it, 'For Judah, and the Israelites associated with it', then take another stick and write on it, ' for Joseph (the stick of Ephraim) and all the house of Israel associated with it', and join them together into one stick, so that they may become one in your hand."  Ezekiel 37: 15-17 (NRSV)

This passage from Ezekiel foretells God's intention to join the two Kingdoms of Israel into one nation.

The astrological sign of Aquarius is co-ruled by Saturn and Uranus - the rule-makers and the rule-breakers.

These two positions must be reconciled into one for the Age of Aquarius to begin.

Interestingly there is an asteroid called Chiron which orbits between the planets Saturn and Uranus, moving from inside the orbit of Saturn to outside the orbit of Uranus.

Chiron in mythology was a centaur.
He was a wise teacher and healer.
He trained many heroes and healers.

He was wounded by an poisoned arrow from Hercules but could not heal the wound and replaced Prometheus in Hades.  He was later lifted to the stars by Zeus.

Thus Chiron is called the Wounded Healer.

There are many wounds between Saturn and Uranus - these two forces often clash violently causing wounds - as we have seen in the recent Culture Wars.

Perhaps in the Age of Aquarius these wounds may be healed and a lasting peace established.

And so we have Religious Traditionalists (Saturn) and Religious Progressives (Uranus).

But could there be a third force - the Healers.

Jesus himself was a healer and sometimes he was a rule-maker and other times he was a rule-breaker.

He said, "'Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.'"  Matthew 5:9 (NRSV)

As the two sons Judah and Joseph had one father, Jacob, so traditionalists and progressives have one Father - the one in heaven.

So, rather than claiming exclusivity, we should recognize that we are brothers equally loved by God.

Neither of us is perfect and neither of us is preferred.

And so we take the best of both worlds - the best of traditional religion and the best of progressive religion - and synergize them into a rainbow of views across the religious spectrum.

We must tolerate each others' views without trying to force others to conform to our view.

Then, perhaps, we may see the beginnings of peace.

Rock Music.

                            

When I talk about the ill-effects from listening to rock music I am not just talking about sex.

Sex is probably the least important effect.

Satanism in rock music creates death, depression, and a disturbed state of mind.

Combine this with a negative attitude to sexual gratification - i.e. sex without love - and you have a recipe for suicide.

But God is life, and joy, and peace.

The opposite of rock music.

So unplug your earphones and pray to God.

You might even consider going to Church.

But pray to God and He will hear.

Worse effects even than these relate to sin, fall, damnation, and hell.

These things are hidden in the music and imagery.
And they act on the subconscious mind.

God is about virtue, grace, salvation, and heaven.

Pray to God and He will deliver you.

The Devil's Work.

                            

Those who have sold their souls* do what they think is the devil's work in our world.

So they are in the business of temptation.

In the Bible it is said that the devil's work is to kill, steal, and destroy.

They are about corrupting us and turning us to evil.

But there is no devil in reality.

And God does not punish us.

But the damage remains.

We are cursed.

Boring.

                            

The most common complaint about church is that it is boring.

A friend once told me this joke about church: "It's not the worms in the pews that are the problem it's the dry rot in the pulpit."

So why is church boring?

The experience of God is anything but boring.
It is wonderful, exciting, beautiful, surprising.....
It is never dull.

So why does church not reflect the experience of God?

Could it be that priests and ministers have not experienced God?

How could this be?

Perhaps they have intellectualized religion to such an extent that they have excluded direct experience.

Perhaps their motivation is wrong.

In any case the real experience of God will enliven His Church and make it relevant.

If they will allow it.

Presence.

                            

My friend Sean said to me recently, "There is either the presence of God or the absence of God.  When God is present you experience good things. When God is absent you experience bad things."

I would have said that it is either the presence or absence of love which causes us to have good or bad experiences.

Perhaps, in the end, they are the same thing.

A Thousand Year Reich.

                                      

Satanists in our modern world glorify Hitler and Nazism.

So much so that by inverting the Christian belief in the thousand year reign of Christ they work towards Satan's thousand year Reich.

This is Revelation backwards.

And it is the objective of contemporary Satanism*.

Buzz Words.

                            

Have you noticed that the so called buzz words of recent times have taken a decidedly negative turn?

Sin, filthy, wicked, bad, pure evil, hate, dark, demon, the devil.....

This corrupting influence comes from Satanism in our popular culture.

Better to embrace the reactionary positivism which followed the intense darkness if the 1980s.

Angels, fairies, crystals, gays and lesbians, Progressive Christianity, white, pink, heaven, the common good, Aquarius.....

These things will lead you out of darkness and into the Light.

Leaving It To God.

                            

Too many people leave everything to God.

People seem happy just to watch and leave the helping to someone else.

This is a lazy and inappropriate approach.

God expects us to act as Good Samaritans not just pass by and leave it to Him.

This is the lazy, hypocritical, and apathetic approach which has led to the death of the Church in the West.

Congregations are not just dwindling they are beginning to die.

And this is because people leave it to God.

We are God's hands in the world.

And if we do not help nothing will happen.

The Apple.

The unconscious association of the apple in the Garden of Eden with sex makes the devil desirable.

The apple was the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

It had nothing to do with sex.

The Great Lie.

When we first turn to God and seek forgiveness the devil worshipers who control the popular culture will lie about God.

They will say "God will do your fly up" - meaning God will stop you having sex - and they will cite extreme chapters of the Church to support their claim.

This is done to reinforce their assertion that all sex is of the devil.

This is particularly common where homosexual sex is concerned.

But God is not anti-sex.
He invented it after all.

Homosexual sex occurs in nature.
So they cannot say that it is unnatural.

But devil worshipers want a monopoly on sex so that everyone will go to hell.

This is the Great Lie.

The Bad News.

                            

The bad news is that we are cursed.

Incredible as this may seem our music, theater, movies, T.V., and sports are all controlled by Satanists who have sold their souls for fame and fortune.

They propagate their brutal philosophy while sabotaging and poisoning everyone.

They are not content to just curse us either they actively seek to wound and kill us causing great suffering, even suicide.

They corrupt and pervert everyone.

This is the curse of our time.

We would do well to recognize it.

Deconstructing Christendom.

                            

First of all we must deconstruct the facade of Christianity which is based on the Fall of Man and our subsequent Redemption through the blood of Christ.

Both the myth of Adam and Eve and the doctrine of Penal Substitution are false.

We must surrender our belief in the inerrancy of the Bible.

The Bible is a human record of humankind's experience of the One God.

It was compiled by many different authors over hundreds of years.

Next we must relinquish our belief in hell.

God does not punish us.

We must give up all claims to the divinity and exclusiveness of Christ.

Then, and only then, can we embrace the concept of unconditional love which is the cornerstone of the New Paradigm.

To Millennials.

                            

An open letter to Millennials:

Those who put out rock music into our popular culture may not have your best interests in mind.

Rock music is infested with Satanism.

What they do is take the astrological planets and signs of each generational group and apply the negative interpretations.

So they will push drugs and promiscuous sex for Aquarius, laziness and overeating for Sagittarius etc..

This resembles what they did to the Hippies in the 1960s and 1970s.

This is how peace and love became sex and drugs and rock and roll.

The results are: drug addiction, divorce, mental-illness, poverty, degradation, and obesity.....

So beware!

You are being poisoned and betrayed.

They will tempt you to transgress (sin) and then send you to hell for it.

Teach Them to Pray.

                            

When we are attacked or oppressed
we can call on God.

And Help will come.

Teach then to pray.

The Church.

                   

The Church has an image problem.

Within the Church all is goodness and light.

Outside the Church the institution is bankrupt.

So, while we pat each other on the back and congratulate each other on how good we are, nothing will happen.

The Church will die.

We have to face the fact that the general public does not share our view of the Church.

The general public hates the Church.
And they actively seek its destruction.

This can be seen in the glee with which they receive each new allegation of child sex abuse and the attempts of the hierarchy to cover it up.

This is fed by dark forces in our society.

It is magnified and spread.

So, until we learn how to counter these forces, we will never be able to stop the slow death of the Church.
